Re: Scr8p's Worlds Rere #7 / 2021 Vonats
]Last update for this car.
So some things got switched around on this car. Removed my Flashback parts and went full Jconcepts. Towers, trans brace, battery hold down and thumbscrews, steering bellcrank, turnbuckles, nose tubes, wing tubes, wing mounts, Detonator Worlds body, Smoothie 2 tires, wheels, and even 8-32 aluminum lock nuts for the rear wheels.
Raced the car at the vonats last weekend. It was fast, but I could never get a handle on the double jumps on the backstretch. Fought them all weekend. I think I started pole in the B main. Top 2 bump to the A. Popped a ball cup running 2nd. Took awhile to get back on the track and never made all of the lost spots back up. Finished 4th or 5th. The car got beat up more than I had hoped, but it is what it is. Try it again next year with a new car.

That’s one bad machine, superbly executed.
Me likey alot

Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out

I've had the Jconcepts stuff for at least a year or more now. Was meant for a different car though.
I'm sure more will be made. They just have to wait their turn.

The car looked really sweet in person!! And was fast on the track!
- But yeah those double-jumps (especially the first one on the backstretch for me) wreaked havoc for many of us...
If I can get to building early enough this time around I will bring a Worlds-type car for next year (along with another B2/B3 as back-up).
- Since I cannot drive good enough to make the A-main (even with a B2), I might as well have fun driving a true "RC10" model!
