Z Bend Pushrod for the 6 gear asc 6256
Are all pushrod wires the same size? I'd like to replace the tie rod link I have with a more vintage solution. Are the wires for zbend pushrods the same diameter?
would something like this be work if I cut them down

Would I shop that specializes in RC planes be able to z bend straight rod for me?

I have some that measure 0.059" and others that are 0.063".
That being said, I don't use them on any of my cars. Only one even has the original style servo saver, only because I had a new one laying around.

Thanks. I haven’t used that in decades either. I’m slowly reverting my 6 gear to 1986 conditions and I am trying to see if I can get that part covered inexpensivelyjuicedcoupe wrote: ↑Tue Apr 12, 2022 2:16 pm I have some that measure 0.059" and others that are 0.063".

I measured the ones from my Digger, they were 0.058". While they definitely cost more, they aren't expensive. They also include new collars.

Any hobby shop that deals with airplanes will be familiar with the stuff you need. Usually there is a section where you can buy music wire. And the collars should be in the dubro section.

These are partially bent.
I make my own from 0.063" music wire.
