I got these two armatures in a motor lot recently. They are the same diameter as a 540 but longer (old 540 blank for comparison). Do they look like 550’s? I don’t have one to compare (except a Traxxas 12T with fan, which has a longer shaft when viewed still in the can).

They are both single winds. Any ideas where they may have originated? The one on the right is formed in a hexagonal shape - which I haven’t seen before.

Edit - I haven’t yet been able to find a picture online of a 550 arm from something like a 360PT that doesn’t have the plastic fan part. Still looking!
Thanks!

They could be 550 but could also by any one of industrial motor armatures. Like from a cordless drill or blower motor or something.

If I can find it - I have a B&R 550 can motor. The comm was torn up, so I pulled the fan off a Titan armature, dropped it in there and put it in my slash. It was a very fun motor at that point :) adjustable timing and bearings!

2 is traxxas front (maybe TRX3/Bandit), 4 is B4 rear.

Hi there,

Any idea what this mixture is? I assume that the chassis is kind of RC300 but not sure, the body? No idea, as I do not think it is from Graupner. Motor has no branding, no idea where that came from.

I'm trying to identify these tires. They came on a beautiful MIP 4-10 Legend, 4 tires front and rear, all new condition. The legend instructions have the Losi spikes up front and X pattern in the back both of which I have - so I was thinking of converting to manual spec. But I really want to know what these tires are - maybe they are appropriate for the car in a nuanced way that I don't understand yet..

Thanks all for the offers and info - I found a video that indicated the length of a the stack on a Surpass 550 at 31.6 mm. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofnrmB73nNU&t=3s&ab_channel=TommyRC

I also broke open a burned out Traxxas 550 (forgot I had it until reading JK's reply!) and measured it at 29-30 mm. The two rotors in my picture are almost exactly the same length.

Does anyone recognize this comm lathe? I got it with some other parts recently, but there's no manufacturer marking and the printing on the label is completely rubbed off.

It looks similar to a Trinity or Twister (which look like rebranded Trinity'?) with the comm positioned on the left side and motor on the right, but had to say for sure as all images I can find via google look different in one way or another, for example the knobs and threaded mounts. Trying to find any info for general reference.

Note motor is just an unrelated old stock one!

Thanks!

Maybe the DTXC5114? Or maybe not. Looking again, the spike pattern looks different.

Not the same but some of it looks similar to my Quick Turn.

Something close to that. The knobs are a bit more volcano shaped I think. I'm at a loss on this one.. Unbranded but I feel like I have seen these somewhere before..

Possible Parma copies of the CAT tires.

I had to buy a "junk" parts lot from a guy since it had a few Panda parts in it that I needed for the rc I purchased from him. Along with a bunch of junk it came with these parts trees and wheels.

Any idea what these trees go to?
