Thanks to several other members of the RC community this little nugget is winging its way to me at the moment.
It looks to be the same undertray style used by Umberto Pernice in Romsey in 1987, and to me appears to be the same shape as the Coyote bodyshell. Whether that doubles over to the Pro10 shell i am not too sure. I will check upon arrival.
Either way, it is a great find
CAT SWB&XL, Meteor (x3), RC10 custom, RC10 Graphite, Goldpan, 870c (x2), Works 91, Samurai, Pro Radiant (x2), Mini Mustang&Maxima, Mid Turbo, TOP Hybrid , Coyote, Hot Trick Optima, Supercharge, Brimod, 'Rory Cull' Hotshot, SRB.
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.
A problem shared is a problem halved but an advantage shared is no advantage at all.
So i checked the undertray with my Coyote bodyshell.... it remains a bit of a mystery really. It does fit inside the Coyote shell (width) but is longer at the rear. I think it may be designed for both the Coyote and the Pro10 and you just have to trim the rear end accordingly. It is certainly listed as a Pro10 optional tuning part based on the part number.
I have now arranged for Penguin to receive it and reproduce it, so everybody will get the benefit of it as required.

This is the actual TAG Pro10 RCMC review car (Sept '88), complete with optional central roller clutch and alloy motor mount (neither of which i have seen before) supplied by Phil Greeno. I was offered this as a loft find by...

I haven’t fitted the attack angle kit yet. I was too excited about sourcing the original shell and getting the stickers right on that. It is on my list of things to do though!
So.... i have posted a few of my old race cars on the forum already, and they are the usual RC10 and Yokomo offerings, but when i was just getting into R/C i always lusted after the adverts of the TAG Coyote which was posted in Radio Race Car...

Sorry I did not see someone was kind enough to respond!
Anything really. I have most of the chassis.
So mainly suspension and drivetrain parts.
I'm thinking this is probably a Tag not SG Coyote based on the fact that it has TAG on the speedo , i think i got lucky with this one as its so complete , even the broken top arm and missing dog bone seen in the Ebay pictures were in the box that...
Hello new to this board, I am 46 from Italy and currently mega happy for my latest find, a barn find...3 rc cars that i considered lost in the early 90's. An Sg Tag coyote 4wd (kyosho megamotor) 1/10 buggy, a Tamiya Porsche 959 Dakar rally model...

Welcome! Some nice cars you have there. I would like to see more pics of that Coyote with it’s vintage electronics..
I told a story here a long time ago about running a car in the street without shoes on, hitting a curb, knocking the caster out of whack on a beam axle, and then running over my own foot—cutting my toes apart in the process.
Well, I'm pretty sure it is a 10L... I had always wanted one. This one came up on RC Crawler.com.. got it for $35 shipped, with a TON of vintage foam tires.
Will someone please tell me if this is an Associated front end, and if not, who...

Wow! Not a pancar guy myself, but I can totally see the allure. So many goodies on this. Must be a screamer!
Thanks man --
I wasn't either, 'till I dipped my toe into carpet 12th scale. When a pancar is dialed, there is nothing else like it -...
Build right out of the box with a sprinkling of purple EV-10 Deluxe bits.
I replaced the original rear axle by a titanium rear axle I had, because I like to run my pancars with a thrust bearing and the threaded portion of the...
I scored a couple of very well used Pro 10s nearly two years ago. They'd been converted to nitro, consequently, both the motor mounts were hacked. A lot of the parts are re-useable. I have a few new parts to add to the mix as well.
This will be a...

In the optional parts list for the Pro 10 it mentions a lightweight crown gear, lightweight diff output shafts and a lightweight diff box. Fortunately, I already have the lightweight output shafts. After some searching, a pair of lightweight crown...
