So maybe you just need a slightly longer trans top brace?

A buddy was using that gearbox at the VONATS and had alignment issues with the motor plate and the chassis, they didn't line up at all. I don't know that he had everything else right or was missing something different.

Even though this is about the stealth it does remind me of this.
Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out

So Reggie I figured out your buddies problem, the motor plate needs to be shimmed out by about 1mm.

Yep, that looks like his did. I'll pass that along. Small price for the 2.6 internals though-

Re: 8RADs OIN build #2
Finally got all my tranny alignment issues sorted. Got my bent chassis sorted and my drive line sorted.....I think.
So I ordered a Custom Works CVA kit for outlaw 4/Rocket 4. What arrived was a 67mm bone and a 5mm axle which is I think a stock B6 to B6.2 CVA assembly. I had my buddy turn the axle down to 3/16 and boooya.......cheap B4 CVA's. Add some rere DS hub carriers and FT 3/8 x 3/16 bearings and done.
Even came with cool anodized CVA collars and a M4 thread to match the front hex hubs! I am moderately impressed with myself.
