Losi XX Variation info request
Short short version is that my 21.5 Pre Pro SE race car was sooooooooo much better than my RC10 and B2 on track I've committed to build an XX to vintage race with this year. However I know or don't remember much about them including versions, arm differences, hubs etc etc so please help me learn!
Pics help me too.

Re: Losi XX Variation info request
Hi,
The main difference between versions is the toe-in angle on the rear was outboard for the XX, and inboard for the XX CR.
The XX-CR Kinwald edition was supplied with a dual disk slipper instead of hydradrive .
No huge modifications between all versions; a great car.
In my opinion the best compromise for a runner is a XX-CR with a dual disk slipper built from a 22 2.0 or later version (except losi 5.0), a sabulatech Nylon front bulkhead, a transmission case reinforced by an aftermarket brace, and it's Ok.

Re: Losi XX Variation info request
I see a lot of castor blocks, some with on center kingpin setups (truck i think) two hole and one hole options, plus different hubs and arms and apparently rear toe blocksEssejay wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 3:54 pm Hi,

Re: Losi XX Variation info request
The XX is sweet! I run my XX with CR spec rear end and Hydradrive. Currently running a 13x3 brushed and vintage Novak esc.
For the front there are basically two sets of casterblock/spindles, standard and 25 degr. I believe the 25 degr are the ones with the double holes for the camber link (could be wrong here).
The XX byggy has the front bearings inside the spindle. The XXT truck has the bearings in the wheels.
For the rear the CR has two options, the standard 0 degr and the 1 degr hubs. The inner mount is also availible in different toe and anti squat versions.
Then there are different length chassis and Graphite arms available.
Start with the setup according to the manual: http://vintagelosi.com/Manuals_files/Manuel_Losi_XXCR.pdf (Thanks VintageLosi.com!)
Yes, as above. Find yourself a XX-CR if possible.

Re: Losi XX Variation info request
Your right about the double hole caster block been 25degr and you can get single hole 25 and 30 degrees caster blocks. The rear inner arm mounts are both three degrees toe in and you can get a two degrees and zero degr anti squat.

Re: Losi XX Variation info request
On the original xx rear suspension you can get 2.5 and 3.5 toe in hubs and the arm mount plate is zero toe in and 2 or 4 degrees anti squat.
