Joined the cool kids club and put some mip cvds on my rc10 to replace the falling-apart dogbones.

Made some progress on the backyard track. I'm trying to get as many rocks out of the dirt as possible. The mini JRx2's, mini T's and mini B's don't care much for rocks.

Just don't get it tangled up with a Slash. While faster, a SC10 looks a little fragile when compared to a Slash (especially a beefed up one).
The Slashes are 2WD rentals mostly. The Pro4 SC10 is basically a stretched chassis version of the MT10 so it's pretty durable and it has to be better than my B7 or b74.2 getting t-boned by an out of control Slash.

Since this is the 'what did you do RC today thread' I'll add that I was able to get out to the local pump track and new skate park during lunch with the Pro4 and had a blast. The pump track is fully paved with multiple banked 180s and the skate park has a kidney shaped pool and an open ended half pipe with a couple of nearly vertical ramps and a bowl closing the other end.

Ran the rc10 at the track after installing the mip cvds, wide front arms, new rear bulkhead, and outdruve bearings. It's amazing! Although it's inability to go fast is more reflective of the driver...

Prepped my B6.4 for racing this weekend. had to put the electronics I borrowed for Roostpalooza back where they came from. Also, spoked wheels make this look so much cooler.

They're from the Jegs Stinger but only come in black. GForce makes them in chrome but importing them is cost prohibitive. I painted these ones Bronze.

Put the Pro SE back together with the new DHawk front bulkhead, the RPM one that was on the car got stolen for my LXT back at Roostpalooza. Hopefully the car holds together for tomorrow's Turf opener, this car in particular has a had a bad habit of self destructing during mains.

Just about complete on another long-running project, my mk1 Ford Escort body - now on a TT01 chassis.

Recent jobs:
- Clearancing the wheel arches (not a fun job!)
- Selecting wheels and tyres to suit
- Fitting body to chassis
- Creation of front grille area from scratch
- A few small extra decals

I'm no artiste, so the grille isn't great - freehand-cut by a guy with two very mismatched eyes ;)

Car will be tested tomorrow, and is hopefully complete i.e. the tyres don't rub! I don't have any Minilite wheels, so the Yokomo touring rims are the best I could find in my stash. Didn't really want to fit the new Tamiya Rally Blocks, as they're quite square and made the rubbing worse, but again I didn't have many other options.

Lights should look great in the dark!

Finished vintage black pan GT exhaust.

...started off in the antifreeze / crock pot.
...steel wool
...then Blue Magic (try it on a test black anno aluminum part too) works good.

Robbed the parts bins and found enough parts to throw together a basher to test out the TPS style transmission. The trans held up well! Blew through a set of foams in a couple packs
