Got another unpainted body in the post today..... an ABC Hobby Datsun 1600 / SSS / P510. Sized for a Mini chassis, so will have to sort out something suitable.

Now to work out a good paint scheme!

Having a think about saddle pack batteries etc, and lipo equivalents. Seeing as it's not viable to get saddle pack LiPo any more i bought some Orion IB4200 World Champion V-MAX HV cels to make up.

My friend ran a Procat back in the day and it was so clean, with the radio running down the center spine and a saddle pack either side.
If I remember it was standard Futaba s148 servo, MC 112B ES, And crystal 29Mhz receiver.
As new radio is so small these days, and so are Lipo cells I'm playing around with running the Lipo down the center as well.
I was having a battery tray cut for my Losi and asked Bezerk RC to cut these battery stays for me at the same time.
I have a Procat and XLS I bought before the rereleases came out, so I wanted to keep the old school G10 fiberglass look.
And on the positive side the rerelease has allowed me to gather most of the aged replacement parts as well.

Not today, but last week, Stumbled across these Kyosho Maxxum front arms, quite rare, look like Lazer zx, until you compare them side by side.
Also had the chance to meet a fellow kyosho nut and nice guy to trade with, (thanks again Glenn)
He also had a stash of Lazer ZX parts for one of my cars and the plastic saddle pack clamps for my Custom Special renovation.
Top bloke, just very difficult to give him any money

I got this NIB 22 2.0 kit to go with my 22 1.0 kit. Not really vintage, but both are unique cars and hard to find NIB.

Paul doesn't have the details on file.... don't worry, if I'd been able to, I would have purchased from him. Very niche part, which is surprising considering the original was made of soft-boiled cheese.

Some paint, tires (already swapped the new ones onto the buggy) and some stickers to get my RC10 resurrection going.

I have an Amain dist center a couple of miles from my house here in Charlotte, so I don't have to pay shipping if its in stock over there.

Met some cool folks that work there as well.

Today my "not a B5 rear motor" kits arrived. Quality looks great and they come with tires and wheels. Funny part is I only found out about em because of AE's post. They clearly haven't heard of the Streisand effect. So yeah, It wasn't hard to decide between two of these or a graphite 6 gear

They do both B5/B5M and T5/T5M...

I wonder if they do parts because I wouldn't mind a set of the front rib tires for truck.
