mmh, Jason, could you please keep an eye on those Lunsford arms please? Pretty please?mrlexan wrote:I was only kidding. Scr8p actually found them on sheldon's store. It was funny, just because like 4 or 5 days earlier, I told him to keep an eye out for them, then BAM!, there they were. I wasn't home at the time and he picked them up for me. They are actually from Lunsford, not Robinson.

Re: My Ultimate JRX2
I'm refering to the lower link that attaches near the gearbox, and appears to be a tecnacraft turnbuckle instead of the solid link that you have on the front side of the gearbox. did that come with the lunsfod kit?mrlexan wrote:Thanks for all the complements guys.
Anthony, that setup is per the directions provided with the Lunsford kit.
I didn't want to go with a stock steering setup, but the color was the deciding factor.
I've got a White MIP ball bearing steering bellcrank kit still in the package. It is labled as for the pro-SE (I think, I'll check tonight), so it may not be exactly period correct, but it fits the all aftermarket/color theme.

Re: My Ultimate JRX2
Yes, that is what the kit came with, short the T-craft piece of course. They just had a threaded rod. Take some pics of the MIP if it turns out to be a Losi kit. Thank you sir.

Off course, not that sweet JRX2, but something
we'll help you out with coverage

That's cause I can't never seem to get the Litesinks to line up and I don't want to force. You know it will never see the ground anyway,

Re: My Ultimate JRX2
i do everything in my power, especially when it comes to quality aftermarket parts, to make them fit nicely. the way they're supposed to. if i have to bend, grind, sand, reshape, alter, etc....... i'll do it. but some stuff just doesn't fit. that stuff gets forced.

Re: My Ultimate JRX2
Thanks for the pics, now it all makes sense. I could not figure out how the suspension could move without binding. The single large combo link will cause the hub carier to pivot which would cause binding if the 2 stock rear links were used. Having ball pivots on the rear most link(the one with the tecna turnbuckle) will prevent the binding. Cool system.
