Got any?
Seems they are a little hard to find these days....
Honestly, I have a Pro XL and the front arms almost seem a little too wide... Kinda like the TRX-1 wide. I think a set of the JRX2 RPM arms would be a good middle ground.

Actually the pro XL front arms are using different casterblock then other ultimas so thats why they are so long even longer than andys front.
Also in the rear the pro xl uses longer arms that are mounted more inboard and you are able to adjust the amount of toe in at the ends.

Re: 2010 Vonats Ultima buildup....
I think the narrower front bulkhead is the real reason: the castor blocks have 2 hingepin holes : one of them in the same location as the ultima blocksisobarik wrote:Actually the pro XL front arms are using different casterblock then other ultimas so thats why they are so long even longer than andys front.

Scored these yesterday. We'll see how it looks on the car when they come in...

I think that'll be too narrow.
An Academy griffin body fits well on the SWB chassis, still didn't receive the LWB to try. It looks as if it went lost in the mail

I thought so too, but I placed it on the underside of the chassis to see if it would clear and it does just barely. The nose will be about 1/2" too long, but that can be shortened no problem.

Re: 2010 Vonats Ultima buildup....
Update on this buggy, time is getting near and I need to finish her up before Vonats!
I decided to go with this body from Mr. Lexan.

Looks good and the width and length are right on. The RB I was going to use was a little long and I would have had to do a lot of hacking on it to make it work.
I installed the Andy's front arms on it and they brought the front width out nicely to match the rear. Stripped the sway bars off and threw em in the Kyo parts bin. Pics to follow as I get a little more work done,

That lookslike a fine body for it to me. Kinda looks like a optima-mid genration kyosho shell in the unpainted version already.
But try to mount it a bit lower than on the AYK please

Perhaps the Parma Tomcat or the Kyosho Lazer ZXS bodies would look even finer!
