There is a 1978 S reg black Scimitar with it's front end in the air in a village halfway between me and the coast, visible from the road when you are stuck at the lights, has been there since I learnt to drive in 1981 never moved an inch

All of the old Ferrari were amazing and my choice over any Lamborghini. Personal favourite maybe the 512BBi.

From my own early cars the VW Golf GTI I Pirelli Edition 1983 with Porsche special colour is the one I´m missing. Very lightweight and short gearratio so even more fun than my current car with twice the power.

You can't go wrong with a Hemi.

I always wanted a 1970 Chevelle SS....but I'd be happy if someone made a realistic 1/10 body.
The older I get, the faster I was.

You beat me to it! Yeah, that's a very cool car but they were all greymarket so some were converted better than others I'm told.
Huh? 288 GTOs were not grey market conversions, they were Ferrari's flagship in the mid-80s. Ferrari made 272 of them.

so of those I could NEVER afford, the GTO above, as well as vector W2 were the ultimate.
I've heard the Vector had a nasty habit of lighting itself on fire.

So it would be like owning a Ford then. :P

A few years back there were some rumblings of Vector producing another car. Looking at their site it doesn't seem like much has happened. I'd still love to own one though!

I have always had a thing for the 80's turbo dodge Shelby cars. GLHS, CSX etc. Its always fun when you bust out a 12 sec pass in a 4 door omni

Austin Mini Cooper S 8) Mine took corners like a Tron Lightcycle!!

Cost £8 to fill the tank, beat everything to 60mph, and was the only time I came close to being the 'cool' kid in the neighbourhood!!
Do, or do not! There is no 'try'!
RC; Boats, Buggies, Trucks, Bash's, Racing and of course 'VINTAGE'!

I'd love a Dino, not too crazy power and upkeep, relatively speaking...

I couple weeks ago I had a dream that I was shopping for a Dino. I was riding around in a beautiful navy blue Dino and we drove past a red one that I had already checked out. It was a good dream. 8)

Reg, the Stratos is one of my all time favorite cars as well.

If I could own any car that was ever made, it would be a Lamborghini Miura SV.

An incredibly rare Miura SVJ, one of 5. I'd rather have an SV, but this car is amazing.
