Sweet! 8) Sounds like a reputable dealership to call you like that.

I like the color. I've never been a fan of grey/silver, I believe it's the most common color around, and is just too neutral. This is much more eye-catching. 8)

with the way they worked everything, nothing has changed. it's the only way we would've done the deal. we are out from under the silver car free and clear, and into the orange one with the same loan (0% interest, an length of loan).

we more or less rented the silver car for the last 8-9 months......

ya, i like the color too. i usually lean towards the orange/copper colors. but, my wife wanted the silver the first time around. not the second.

she really likes it though. she was staring at this morning as the sun was coming up and she goes "my car is really sexy in the sun."

I like the color!!

I got the new car last time..... and the time before that.... and the time before that.... So not always do the wives get the new stuff... She has an 06 Expedition limited that she got in June of 06 on a deal kinda like yours, we got a silver XLT and then a couple weeks later, traded it for a gold Limited... Then a month later I bought my Mustang GT... Then a few months after that I bought a 07 F-150 FX2... and I traded that in a year ago on an '11 F250 4x4 Lariat,

Although, she does keep saying she is next, however the 50th anniversay Mustang is coming soon, so she better hurry up! :)

manual valve body= cool fun trans .. auto stick = a big joke that makes uneducated buyers excited about a auto trans(computer on auto stick limits what you can do unlike a manual valve body).. 6 speed auto is for better mpg not shifting... oh and nice car scr8p glad to see people buying american

Good points about the auto-stick...does an auto-stick EXIST that really lets you shift in a performance manner like a standard? The computer overrides anything you'd want it to do that's outside of what it considers "safe". :? My Torrent has that too but I've never even used it. I bought a GTech Performance Meter Pro (link to good review below, NIB on eBay for $55 shipped) to do some 0-60 performance tests after weighing the vehicle & me at a scale. My best average (the manual says to average the top 3 of 5 runs) was 6.92 seconds, the best of that average was 6.88 seconds. The Torrent GXP was rated at having sub-7-second 0-60's so it must've been pretty accurate. Point being, I doubt I could get faster runs fiddling with the auto-stick. I just did a bit of a brakestand to build up the revs and launched.

I was actually most surprised that a 2008 vehicle that was lady-driven for 4 years before I bought it was still able to exceed the "rated" performance figures. 8)

Sorry, didn't mean to make it sound like if you drive a nice car you're an idiot, but it's not like I drive to work on the Audubon everyday. 1200 watt stereo and a cheap car and I'm fine.

Would you WANT to drive on the "Audubon" every day? Isn't that some wildlife society? (I just love typos that give a whole new meaning to a sentence!)
