Depending on the chassis model, they either screw into the side of the shock towers/gearboxes or plug into (usually) hex-shaped holes. I don't know what chassis this car uses, but in the first pic it looks like the rear body mounts have an S-shape to them...Coelacanth wrote:What's special about Tamiya body posts? Can't you take any body posts, cut them to length and thread a 3mm screw inside from the underside?EvolutionRevolution wrote:Except for some special edition parts for the Tamiya TA-01/02, you can't get white body posts for Tamiya chassis (unless you paint them).Coelacanth wrote:That's very cool, definitely a car you don't see every day! You might consider replacing the black body posts with white ones with chrome clips...might be a nice finishing touch to better match the paint.
It's Tamiya's way, don't ask why.

Re: Ummmm....I got a woody....You wanna see?
I have some Tamiya alloy body mount "arms" with square-shaped holes. I suppose if one wanted to, one could swap the square-ended body posts with normal white round-ended ones...but I digress. Back on topic.
