Those look like brushless motor screws. There is a movement to go to titanium or aluminum, as to not disturb the magnetic field in the motor as the steel screws do.

Those are Monster Max brushless motor stator screws. Aluminum, non-magnetic. Also, there are the 3 timing ring/sensor board screws. ;)

Okay, thanks Joey and Nomad. I would never have guessed...
Here's another dumb question; since both motor and non-ferrous screws came from Trinity, why didn't they simply assemble the motor with the screws??

In the photo you can easily see the close proximity of the screws to the magnet coils. I can see how this could be a problem so maybe they should avoid using steel screws.

Not here yet but I'm waiting on a red post card from parcel force telling me there's a package with a customs charge waiting at the post office , HG P407 could arrive any time in the next ten days , its agony :?

I'm at the opposite end of the scale... have two packages awaiting pickup from work, and another one due (another M05 Mini, an ABC Hobby SW20 MR2 body, and some magnetic body mounts), but I've been on leave since before Christmas, and have another week off to go!

Then again, I probably don't need more projects jamming up the place.....
