Re: Solder problem!!!! NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!

honestly, i don't give a rats ass how many batteries you have, because you sound like you're bragging now and just want to throw away perfectly good items.

to waste even one, is a desecration.... i think nearly any of us here could have used those batteries (above and beyond the ones we already have)... aside from you, i guess.

i'm not sure if you noticed my earlier comments, but those suggestions, whether you believe it or not, are useful in solving the solution you sought when posting your original dilemma.

i am at a total loss as to why you would not respond to me or the suggestions i offered until it was too late.

I see nowhere that you used a non-solder connection... i apologize for overlooking that.

So, did you you use a crimp connection and it did not work?

and my point was... that it seems silly to throw away items that are usable to people that can actually do the "McGuyver" work that you do not want to do.

by the way... the trash is not where deceased batteries go

i'm not trying to be hard on you, in particular, but everything you are saying is so non-logical that I'm having trouble understanding why you did (or didn't do) what you did.

you do realize you were 'modifying' a battery so they won't warranty the battery, correct?

you wrote a letter, you obviously expect something.

i've been there, done that... get over your shortcomings because that is the problem, had you used the item as it was produced, it would perform the duties it was made for exactly as prescribed.

Shut up Lowgear- idiot.

Really though, while I had no part in this- and didn't even look at this until right now and wondered, hmmm 3 pages about a solder issue-must be something fun happening that I am missing!! But I guess not-

Questions are super cool here, and there is tons of info- yes personalities are diffferent, and some guys want things this way because they do even when someone thinks it's daft....but
we are all entitled to our opinions ( Except MrLexan ) but you have to know when a thread is getting out of hand- HP Freak IDK if you edited yours on request, or out of respect-and Heffay IDK if you two have just agreed to disagree or whatever but...........toy cars!! Let's have fun
with them ( unless they are a Kyosho or Losi   )
