I hate to be the one to derail this topic, since there are others here much better at it than I, but it is quite amazing that even though we all congregate here due to vintage RC, a lot of our other interest are common as well. Between Vintage RC, BMX, and now punk rock, this place gets better every day.Charlie don't surf wrote:Seemed more fitting than Juliana Theory, or Sunny Day Real Estate-

I know what you mean. There's nothing sadder than a 30something trying to dress like a teenager. On rare trips to the mall I see it and I'm embarrassed to be in the same food court. I still remember the day I had to succumb to reality and give up my style.Charlie don't surf wrote:I am pretty sure that the first good drive will start with Jets to Brazil- Orange Rhyming Dictionary, Chinatown.
You what I really miss about "vintage punk", is that 10 years ago I could tell if you were into the same music scene if you had chuck taylors' and had somehow gotten lucky enough to find an old set of black heavy framed glasses and if you were wearing a western shirt. Now every 15 year old looks like that, and they look at me like I am some old dude.
I love Karma Chameleon!scr8p wrote:fixed it.Charlie don't surf wrote:I am pretty sure that the first good drive will start with Karma Chameleon - Culture Club
