Thanks for the kind words, it is great when you love working on cars like these and the results do all the talking. I like giving my own spin to my cars and they might not be all period correct but they are period correct to me (today's period of me working on them
).

very nicely done, love all the little personal touches. I really like to see cars that have the builders ideas on them and the home made mods just make it better. For 80's and early 90's cars period correct means home made parts - lots of races back then were won in the garages by making better parts for your car!

Just checked back into this thread. The craftsmanship and detail on this is stupendous.

Hey, very nice car. I like trailing arms a lot. I see no mention of the brand of the wingmounts, which brand are they ? Are they known to be sturdy of fragile ? Thanks, keep up the nice job...

Re: PROJECT A&L Conversion custom
Good question, the wing mounts are kyosho #LA213 made for the ZX-5. It comes in a part tree with some bumpers I can't use and some nice body mounts I am using in a different project and with some other spacers I will use for something at a future moment. Losi also makes some as well as several other brands, typically on 4WD cars.heretic wrote:Hey, very nice car. I like trailing arms a lot. Thanks for the comments guys, I love it, this car feels solid. I got a new rear bulkhead today that I plan on fitting in this weekend. I am also waiting on some blue aluminum shock caps and then the body.

Re: PROJECT A&L Conversion custom
Thanks for the info.
I use the losi wing mounts on one of my self-made cars already, but the kyosho here seem to have a smaller "footprint " (= less space between the two holes), which could be very useful on antoher project of mine. The losis wouldn't work on that one.
Back on topic ! Can't wait to see the end result of you project ! pix, pix, pix ! haha
