'68 Chargers also have the door lock pulls further back on the door....'69 and up they moved 'em more towards center, which get's in the way of yer arm hanging out the window when cruisin' for chicks on a hot summer day....

One of many reasons '68's are the best year for Chargers....haha

I've always wanted another 66 Lemans like I had when my wife and I were dating. My original car was a white post car with a black interior, buckets and a console, powered by a 326/Powerglide combo. I loved that car but stupidly traded it away for a 64 Impala Super Sport just after we got married. Fast forward to last Sunday, 27 years later - My wife decided (on her own!) to enlist the help of my best friend to get me something nice for my birthday...needless to say I'm in shock. This one is a keeper! It's a 67 Lemans with a 454 Chevy motor - I know, sacrilege! But it was built just 5 years ago and runs great, so it stays for now. It's not perfect but it has new exhaust and interior and almost no rust! Last owner was a Pontiac freak and had a huge garage full of mint cars. He had this car for 12 years. I may have to sell some more rc cars to do what I want with it, but I'm ok with that. 8)

The only cars from my youth were a 63 Beetle and a 86 Nissan PU. I'd be cool to have my Bug back, but since the wife has a 59, it will do. I am more than happy with my Shelby, and feel free to lump that car in with the same status as all of my RC10s and add it to the give mrlex a hard time list.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

That's a gorgeous car, RedScampi! Man, they sure don't make 'em like they used to.

is that a gto emblem on the front fender?

my first car was a beat up 68 tempest, very similar to the lemans. i always wondered why pontiac made the lemans, tempest and gto. they were practically identical.

my tempest had gto logos on one side. lol it had a 350/352? with a 2 barrel carb and a 2 speed hydraglide. 0-65mph is first. silly car, i blew it up jumping it.

Nah, it's a 326 emblem left over from the original motor. It'll be going away when I'm ready to paint it.

Well if we're talking of my pre license youth, I was in love with many shapes and sizes of wonderful iron. I grew up in the shop with race cars, rigs, and even farm equipment. But most of my favorites were found on the movie screen!!!

Trucks:

Original Bigfoot I first saw in Take This Job and Shove It.
I also like the Ford in Urban Cowboy.

Well that's about enough. I could be here all day. I lusted after many vehicles!!!

the 80s were the golden age for japanese cars. So many turbo charged vehicles, and they were a blast to drive, I absolutely love em. I currently own 10 cars, most from the 70s n 80s and almost all older mitsubishis, but yeah I love the older stuff, I absolutely hate the new car designs. Driving a 240z is so refreshing and it feels like what a sports car should be.

Look at group b rally in the early 80s. Formula 1 budgets and upwards of 550hp at its end in 86. audio even ha a 1000hp setup they were testing lol.

group a and factory stock racing was amazing, here were all kinds of makes back then.
2x rc10 A stamped, rc10t, rc18t, 3x rc10gt tamiya stuff - fox, lunchbox re-release, Custom chevy clod crawler, cc-01 pajero, 2x cc-01, kt full option, and 3 HL tanks. Looking for a rc250 and rc500
