The “b” extension is for black color. The arms on both the rere are the worlds style, which uses a 10t inner hinge pin. The original arms used a longer pin. Rpm arms also use that longer pin. Lunsford probably sent the original style not the worlds.

Ah that's what the B stands for, thanks! The Lunsford set was for the Worlds so is the shorter rear pin. I have the original Team Car so the pin was too short for my rear arms. Luckily I ordered the new ones so the pics should fit the new arms arriving today! We shall see

Got the new arms and back in business!

AE just got resupplied. I ordered the left CV cup so once I get it I will fix the chip. Also ordered a few other things that were now in stock. I guess putting your email in the notify section does increase chances of refilling their stock!

Yeah, I guess it does. I sent in my order just after they announced that wing things are available again. I was stalling hoping that the 9911 bones would be available again but there were other B2/3 things I needed so I went ahead and fired-off the order. Happy you’re getting that left drive replaced.

What’s up with 60mm and 2.2” rear wheels? Is one better than the other? And why are the 60mm so cheap on JConcepts?

Sorry, this probably won't provide an answer but I couldn’t resist doing the math and 60mm is 2.36”. Wouldn’t it be great if you could fit 2.2 tires on 60mm wheels and not have to glue them?

Apparently they weren’t ROAR approved at one time but are now.

Awesome! Great detective work. Gonna order a set and check the fit. I seriously hate the hassle of gluing tires. Haha.

I think you need to glue no matter what, once dirt gets in there they will spin inside the tire.

So I went to upgrade my old tranny to the V2 slipper, I guess I should have read that I needed a new top shaft. Ordered one for $10 so waiting on that! The new B4.2 came in today!

60mm wheels/tires, sometimes referred to as 2.4" or 'EVO' came out ~2 years ago.

Main differences:
- Rim bead is styled more like a modern 1/8th scale rim which is supposedly easier to glue tires. You can be the judge of that
- The rim profile is slightly taller, hence the foam insert is thinner. On very high traction surfaces the tire tends to not have as much roll in the sidewall which some (better drivers than I) claim give a more confident and consistent cornering feel.

The widespread adoption of the new tire and rim combination hasn't really taken off which is why you are seeing them discounted pretty heavily. Everyone has pretty much stuck to 2.2" tires and rims.

Anyone ever use these? I'm looking for an adapter that will let me use hex wheels on a vintage RC-10 Graphite to get a third runner up and going on the cheap!
