Re: My new Red Prince!
I think they're releasing the Red Prince kit, just like the Red Hotshot last year. He's rc-lohas on eBay... this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Red-Hotshot-conversion-kit-Hot-Rare-Deluxe_W0QQitemZ270482680838QQcmdZViewItemQQptZRadio_Control_Vehicles?hash=item3efa062c06
I've heard the kits are well designed... and they sure look good!

The preceding contained opinions, beliefs and thoughts that all may not agree with. No offense was intended at any point. Carry on.

Re: My new Red Prince!
they are very nice, but way out of my price range. with this kit how does the car run? wasnt this kit made to make the frog competive with the RC10 back in the day? I remember trying to sell the Hot Trick kits like this but it ended up costing more than a NIB RC10 so most people just bought the RC10.
I see the kit doesnt come with Wheels and tires, what are the ones on the car?

Re: My new Red Prince!
Woah....there's a red ultima kit too! They really do look like quality pieces of kit, and whilst they may be a reasonable amount of cash, I would say that they look like they are probably worth every penny....
I also heard that a "Red Fox" maybe about to appear too....

Neat car, nice pictures too!
I haven't seen a Frog set up like this, it looks completely different than stock.

I saw this on eBay the other day. It came out really good. Those florescent orange rims have to go though. They don't match anything. Put some of your Tecnacraft replicas on that bad boy.

Re: My new Red Prince!
You mean the rear drive shaft right? The transmission of Frog is too short. If we make a CVD, it still has the problem in the other side. So we decide not to change it. But we had fine tune the new chassis to make sure the dog bond can stay there without drop.Mr. ED wrote:very nice pictures... I wonder if you could fit a stelath transmisson in the rear

Re: My new Red Prince!
I just meant the performance of a frogs gearbox is not so great so it would be cool if it was possible to put a stealth transmisson. I understand though this is not a fitting suggestion as it is upposed to be a conversion of the frog and not a collection of differnt car parts.
Beside the subject of this thread: I applaud your initiative to design an new conversion for the RB5. Aside of the aluminum arms I think it looks great.
Do you think you will make a fully own design in the future; meaning full car, not conversion? I'd like to suggest something along the lines of a 4WD trackmaster

Re: My new Red Prince!
Oh, I see. I think we have to know where to stop. If we modify the gear box, it will become a totally different buggy. And the price will go much higher. Then people may not accept it because it is not Frog anymore.Mr. ED wrote:I just meant the performance of a frogs gearbox is not so great so it would be cool if it was possible to put a stealth transmisson. Thanks for your comment for Red RB5. We got some inquiries from Kyosho guys about making the conversion kit base on Kyosho buggies. But we all know Kyosho did not join the re-re business. So we decide to move our eyes to existing model but not only vintage model. So we choose RB5 as our first try.
And we may have the capability to design a new buggy as you said. But the market size will be a big concern. So we don't have plan at this moment.
