Just getting started on this project . I have a few things coming my way for my first RC10T. I just recieved a mrlexan body and a pricey decal sheet from ebay. So far so good.

Re: RC10T project
Red powder coated chassis , rpm arms, plus other parts came in today from treehugger. Thank you treehugger for all the help. Still have to find time to tear down the doner truck and do the peroxide thing. This thing is going to look sweet when finished.

Looking forward to the results! This forum since I found it has been a bad influence,I now have RC10's showing up at my door step for help! You can never have too many.

Re: RC10T project
Coming along very nicely! I know blue aluminum shock bodies aren't period correct for a 10T, but it would add a nice patriotic type theme to this truck. Maybe with a blue aluminum screw set also... That would look awesome with that new body painted box art style!!
Just an observation I had. I do like the gold ones on there too!
Excellent job so far!

Re: RC10T project
The project is going good so far. Finished the front end and some of the ass end (opps rear end
) I am not sure on the gear cover . I used one that I had on hand but I thinks it corrrect for the 10t. With the red chassis I am thinking of going the Cliff Lett route on the paint job. Just have to find the correct front tires and rims or insert and tires. I posted a pic of the Cliff Lett truck that I am going to use as a referance for paint hope know one gets offended that I used it but thats all I have to go buy. I find it odd that the 10t uses servo tape to mount the steering servo and all the other RC10's use hard mounts .
