I already found some nip parts to upgrade this baby. And look what I've found in a box while doing some cleaning in the basement:

Really look forward to get this truck here !!!

nice. that's a dahm's 10t body. i don't remember the name of the body, but dahm's is out of bussiness last i knew. those 3 piece truck wheels are CLEAN! so is the whole truck! looks like a rc10 front suspension and aftermarket fiberglass or graphite chassis, home built front shock tower and body mounts. all well done. AND CLEAN! nice find.

Very nice truck! The body is a Slammer XT I think. You also have front Kyosho (or Duratrax) front shocks and the first edition parts with the thinner rear shock strut and whity parts. Veddynyce Tchuck!

So sad Van's Invent went down. I spoke today to a LHS owner who used to get them and he said me that the guy was no more joinable. I would really like to know what happened and where are all those molds, I mean the company was still running good before the new owner arrived... At least the legend goes on.

I'm gonna guess it's an aftermarket graphite buggy chassis and front end with early truck rear arms and shocktower. Nice there's some narrow truck front wheels and tires. I can probably cough up a correct black tub chassis, noseplate and white front truck suspension if you decide to go that route...

Yes, the front bulkhead is from an Ultima.

I already planned to swap the front bulkhead/shocks with the original rc10t ones.

i'm no kyosho expert by any means. it's just that some of the holes in the chassis is making it look like an ultima to me.

kinda cool though, you got an ultima10t. :)

Re: Another RC10T *finally received*

Post by saucisse »

I finally received my truck this afternoon

Image
Image

It's got Andy's front arms (which I'm going to sell)

Image

The weird front bulkhead (gonna need to change that too)

Image

The unknown chassis which is going to be replaced by a AE graphite one.

Image

IT came with extra narrow and large wheels and tires which look brand new (the tires)

Image

Some parts that I've found so far for my project...yeah I know...I don't know yet which suspension arms I'll be using so I found few different ones.

Image

and finally the tranny is going to be replaced by a MIP one (thanks tulsa)
