One of the coolest and most under-rated buggies of the 80's.
I have a few and luv em all.
This one looks to be in great condition - good score!!
Cheers

Wow, that buggy looks remarkably similar to the one I picked up a few years back..... So-so paint, chassis in barely run condition, melted motor wrap, homemade chassis guard.... Almost an exact copy!
Your tires don't look flatspotted, that's a good thing. I know mine were. The rear trailing arms dont like weight put on them for any long period of time. The ones on mine were warped from sitting in the box on it's tires for ages. If you store it, make sure it sits on a stand of some sort.
Luckily parts for these buggies aren't too hard to find with exception of wheels and tires. Blue groove's body is nice and a guy in the UK is redoing the decals. They look nice as well.
Actually there is some flatspotting on the tires but not too bad. It does sound like your Samurai is a cosmic twin to this one.
I'd like this to be a runner but I think I'll try and find another Samurai first. I want one for fun and racing and one to totaly restore. I've already got the bluegroove body set and the decal set on the way.
Now to find another Samurai... I have a sweet Hunter now as well! Post pics of that when it arrives.
