My other vintage

Post by muck »

We picked this up from my wife's grandma. Model 70 cub Cadet. It sat for 8 years. Only took me an hour to get it running. We have used it for mower, leaf mulching, snow plowing, and this year i picked up a 36" blower for it... Weird MI weather, it was 50 degree yesterday and 20 tonight with 2" of snow on the way.. Maybe one day i will use the blower LOL

Nice cadet you got there. Very simular to a wheel horse of that era. Very well built machine. Got to love those metal pan seats that kill your ass after being on it for more than 5 min. International Harvestor made some great equipment bitd. That thing will run forever

Nice! My friends couldn't understand why I spent $900 on a IH cub cadet 1250 (used at auction). Its a 1974 and I got a blade with it also with wheel weights/chains and a blower. I'm having the laughs now that he has in the barn in disrepair the craftsman, mtd, ranch king and his last craftsman has got a spot 'reserved' for it there too with it blowing more smoke than the 2 strokes do  . all in all he has a little over 2 grand sitting in his mower junk yard and I'm still mowing

You have to trade in the John Deere hat for a Cubby one... Nice ride!

Nice, back around 6-7 years ago I restored a John Deere 111. I ended up only using it for two years and its sat outside since. :?
