Yokomo Worlds edition with "Yokomo Rough Track Kit"
This is my old Yokomo I got back after several years and it now is in rough shape but is now in progress of a rebuild....to a Pavidas replica. This is the only Rough Track kit I have ever seen..If anyone can get a part number for this kit I would like to know so I can search out another....also need the spring assembly for the upper deck. This car has the hardenend TCS system too.

You made me curious: What is the difference between rough track kit vs standard car?

Re: Yokomo Worlds edition with "Yokomo Rough Track Kit"
Thats a fantastic buggy - rare too
Its great that you've got your old car back... looking at the pics, it would appear that a bit of graft & a good clean (& new top deck shock) will have it back to first class condition.
Jirka - I'm assuming that the 'rough track' refers to the 97 model kit that came with that centre shock/split top-deck?

Re: Yokomo Worlds edition with "Yokomo Rough Track Kit"
Fantastic. I believe the rough track was a development of the WCS which was used to test parts at the Ranch Pit Stop worlds warm up in 97. The car had the longer Associated B2 shocks with complementary resigned towers, sprung upper chassis and redesigned rear camber link. Developments that ended up on the prototype MX 4 that Masami used to win the 97 Worlds.

I ever saw once this rare yokomo buggy, used extra long shocks and the wing rising so high, the rear shock tower so different, using the prototype mx-4 wheels

This is how I got the car back, when i sold the car it was perfect. Thank God the bottom chassis is still in great shape. I just need to find a few parts.

Re: Yokomo Worlds edition with "Yokomo Rough Track Kit"
I ran one of my '97s at last year's VONats. Lots of fun until the upper deck shock shaft broke. I do believe the YR4/MX4 one will be a direct/close enough replacement.
