RC12e offroad truck project...building from memory
I remember seeing one of these as a kid, pretty sure it was in a book I have ordered and in the mail. Anyway, I finally got a great supply of 1/12 off road tires so I decided to mock it up. These are not the final parts just checking to see how its going to lay out. Pretty excited to see its coming together with no extra holes so far

Re: RC12e offroad truck project...building from memory
I remember a kid down the street was getting an "off-road" RC car. So I got out the shovel and mad a course on an empty dirt lot. We brought the car out and it could barely make it 5 feet on the dirt straight
My memory tells me it was a 1/12 Bolink Digger, at least I remember the tires said Digger. NOT an off-road car
P.S. this was apprx 1979

I know the digger you speak of! It was a jerobee based car, I am working on attaining one right now.
Funny how far off road has come

Re: RC12e offroad truck project...building from memory
the midnight pumpkin would be to new, I am thinking that I need to find an old seventy's era plastic toy body or something of a cox gas powered control line or free runner. There was a cool van that would do well if I can find it

Re: RC12e offroad truck project...building from memory
He got a real good key word in there with jerobee, but he didn't know it was a bolink digger. I was really hoping to score it for less but glad nevertheless
