Needs to be said,we are the best little community on the web
That's basically all I needed to say. Great collection of rare, like minded folks sharing something unique and pretty damn special, a true passion. These dumb old toy cars were, and still are, a big and important part of a lot of our lives, and through us and this site their magic lives on.
That is all.
To make this thread worthwhile, please post the best photo of your most prized vintage RC vehicle. Just one.
God bless us all, each and every one of us.

Re: Needs to be said, this is the greatest web site on the n
This is the favorite of all mine and maybe my favorite car period. I used to have the advertisement in RCCA paper clipped so I could find it easily and look at it. Took me close to 20 yrs to get the truck I used to dream over.

The site is cool, but the people are what makes it rock.
real honest good people here that are willing to share not only knowledge but often their last new in package piece to help out someone that needs it
This is my current favorite in my collection but my taste changes once in a while. This was driven around Lime Rock by Dorsey Shroeder and then parked.

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Agreed, just look at the enthusiasm and views for the re-release rumor (now proven true) thread.

Mine, untouched for the last 10+ years. Too many to pick from though.
I'll keep dreaming for a truck like Romulus, the original GT has to be one of my favorites.

I would have to agree, this site is my favorite for talking about R/C cars.
My favorite RC10 has to be my new built 6010

That is a lovely example. But I expect to see 100 exact replicas on here in a few months time.

Well, if by "most prized" you mean the last one that would go up for sale if I had to get rid of everything, then I have to buck the off-road trend (but still keep it in the family)...

Needs to be said, this is the best little community on the w
So I have had an interesting week or so as far as vintage RC goes, and got to thinking about this little corner of the web again, and how special the people really are here.
For example, I posted a want ad, not even for me, but for a friend, for some fairly hard to find parts, and I had to fight with someone to allow me to pay them for what they wanted to ship me for free (still won't let me pay them...lol)
And just the depth of the knowledge here, of items and info that are so specialized hard to come by, but so concentrated here that it would seem like it was some mainstream venue, is a truly special thing that we all should collectively be grateful for.
I changed the title of this thread to "greatest web site" to "best little community on the web". I think it more conveys what I was trying to say.
God bless you all, each and every one of you.![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

My prized car, had it since 93 and bought it with my paper route money. Even though it's all dusty it's still good.

5-Link For Life!
I love my AE rides, but I have always been, and forever will be, a Losi guy. My first car, like you with my own 12-year old $$, was a JRX2 in '89. I sadly no longer have that exact car, but I have a few others, including a shrink-wrapped original JRX2 that I will someday open and build, maybe with my daughter or my son.
