Aluminium Spring Cups

Post by myfordcnc »

Was wondering if anybody knew if these would fit the top loading gold shocks. If I knew the diameter that would be great. Normally I would just buy them and see but they are a little pricey so wanted to check here first.

Says there for the Losi 8, which is 1/8 scale. Probably way to big. HG Hammad Ghuman made aluminum shock parts for the RC10.........a bit hard to find though. :(

I thought losi springs were always larger diameter than associated but they say it works for both. Guess you will find out 8)

Agreed, but this is the other way around. That's why I was wondering if it will really fit associated springs. Worst case you could use Losi's.

And then you don't wear the ano off the outside of your 1:32 body by using a spring that imo, is too small. Once I started using losi springs, I can't go back to the tiny ae ones. My nit-pickiness, but I have this theory that you get a much smoother shock when the spring isn't bending sideways and scraping on the shock body.

That's a pretty good point. I had noticed that, the scraping of the shock body. I'll try both.
