Super Newbie JRX_ Questions

Post by morrisey0 »

Not going to be much more newbie than this series of questions.

This vehicle is a JRX2 or a JRXT? I know the wheels should be a dead giveaway, but there are a couple of things (body mounts) going on with this rig that say it ain't a T.

If it is technically a T, what would I need to do to properly make it a 2?

Then, is it easy to make the change to the trailing arm setup that I usually associated with a JRX2? Was that just an option, or is that an actual model change?

It's a "bitsa"

Seems to have the most Pro items like the front and rear tower and chassis. The chassis and front tower could have also been jrxt though. Rear arms look long like lxt but can't tell for sure. Oh and the red antenna mount would also lend more to the pro than the jrxt as well
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Yeah this looks like it started off as a JrxPro. Plus Lxt rear arms & wheels and home made front body mounts. Steering bellcranks look like the ball bearing ones too.

Also looks like the front wheels are the wrong offset for the short front arms.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Thank all!

Anyone have a Pro SE chassis sitting around that could take some dimensions for me? I am thinking about narrowing this plate down to SE specs, like the Cox Bros. and later Lavigna did, so that I can run an A&L body that I have for a SE. Yes, I am that guy that will build a car around a body. :D

That makes perfect sense! This body, at its narrowest point, is dead on 118m! I think the plan will be to slim this guy down some. Thanks!

I have one that's narrowed already not all the way to pro se specs but I hate to see a regular plate get cut
