Seconded. I’m confused.

Re: What's everyone doing for ball studs?
Thanks for the advice. Here's an update: Custom Works: Actually, CW does have ball studs in stock but they are the "short" version (8121). The price is $8.00 for 6 studs. These will work for steering but the camber links will require the longer version (8122) which are out of stock. From t...

Re: What spring tension or brush hardness should I use for older motors?
Here is a old Trinity brush chart. While you might not be able to find these exact brushes, it should serve as a good guide

Re: What's everyone doing for ball studs?
It's taken some time but those standard length ball studs (p/n 8122) are back in stock at Custom Works.

Re: Tires for 3-piece wheels
Factory Works rear hex adapters fit the 1/4" axles. There are a few options for the front. I believe that the Custom Works front conversion fits with few modifications. I also have a 10T that uses Traxxas parts. They also require some grinding. I only tried it because I had the parts laying aro...

Alternative to 9608 blue spacer
Really haven't been able to find any Associated FT Rear Axle Wheel Spacers, at least reasonably. Yep, a 2mm washer will work but it isn't too pretty and doesn't have a taper to prevent rubbing the outer portion of the bearing. So I bought Durango TD714002 wheel cone spacers. $4 plus shipping. Way ch...

Re: Front wheel/tire option
Doing a little research revealed that the Turbo Scorpion uses the same steering assembly and 8mm od bearings as well. It also appears that it uses a 12mm hex rear wheel.
So, this may turn out to be another 2.2 wheel option.

Old MIP stuff
This may already be here somewhere but I haven't stumbled across it.
I was looking for information on my MIP bellcranks and came across this:

I thought it was cool. Enjoy.

MIP Pack Pads
I love these old MIP pack pads. However they are very difficult to find. I've only managed to find 2. I've really wanted to find a black one with red, blue, and silver lettering. I saw a RC10 with this colorway, and have been searching for it ever since. I decided to try making one. This material is...

Refreshing a RC10 GP - Will Have Many Questions Along The Way
Hello All! I picked up and refreshed a T4 this week, and while doing so, my gold pan kept eyeing me from across the room wondering why I have never given it any love. It truly got to me, so now it is time to show it some! It has only been sitting around for twenty years. I don't have a good b...

Re: RC10T2 Fun Truck
I don't know how they'll hold up, but Traxxas 7270 tires are a cheap option ($12/pair) and are in the 2.2" size. I've been on a tire options binge lately (outfitting 3 trucks) and now have mounted up a set of these too.

Re: How do you get and keep an RC10 running?
Old nylon losses its moisture over time and becomes brittle. You can rehydrate it in water but it does take time. You can still buy correct size ball studs and cups. Schumacher and Custom Works make the correct size studs, as well as Lunsford ($$$). Team Associated recently discontinued the replacem...
