and who would have thought....a 17.5 & 6 gear tranny would pull wheelies so easily...

I picked up a Blue Bird 705MG, good torque and speed....my first try of their servos. Relatively cheap too, I wrapped it with a little CF look vinyl to tie it in with the shock towers.

Yup, those are Team Losi Super Duty rod ends (LOSA6015), now kind of a light beige color.

Bluebird, gotcha. I had a couple of their servo's a long while back and wasn't very happy with their reliability. I do believe, however, that they've improved things substantially in the last while. I'll stay tuned to see how it works out for you

as most can tell, this car is inspired by Eau Rouge's build here.

There was a question about B4 versus the Losi hubs I am using, so here are similar pics showing the camber link angle. I used 2 of the small white plastic spacers left over from a shock rebuild on each side. I also am using the forward most holes to keep the camber link at less of a raked angle.

Joey, you need to get a pair of these spacers with the shoulder-the regular spacer is only good
for breaking roll pins with these wheels-

With a 17.5 , chances are you are geared too low- unless you have the cheat mode enabled. Also, the car was designed around heavier ni-cads batteries... hence the wheelies. If your FDR is OK, then try to get the same with a smaller spur and pinion , to reduce motor overhang. Also, put some weight up front. It is ugly but it... works.

the Mamba Max Pro has timing advance...Castle calls it C.H.E.A.T. mode...

Who would have though Castle got the naming right?

I havent done the math on the FDR, I just grabbed a decent sized pinion on dropped it on there for testing. I think I am @ 26/81. I actually dont plan on using the timing advance, I would rather gear my motor up/down as I need for speed/temps. I've already fried a couple 17.5s/13.5s messing with cheat...felt really good in practice, but come race time

Reg...who makes that spacer? I was going to shave these down and put the stock B4 spacer on there, just have been lazy this week.

Very nice buggy man!! Got a couple questions though.

Are those the stock arms on it with the losi hubs?
and what model of Losi did the hubs come from? a XXX buggy?
