Now I might totally wrong but 05 might mean 0.5 horsepower. You will get average 0.5 horsepower from this size (540-size) electric motor for industrial use.
your typical 540SH barely cranks out 70W... they should be called class 01 then

Very nice! I've only got a few Kyosho motors and they are lovely bits of kit. My favourite is the Gold High Torque motor with the machined aluminium end bell, shame it's not complete as I don't have the armature.
well think i am getting addicted to buying theses every time i see one for sale . i cant explain why i love looking and holding them .

I've collected a few interesting Trinity motors and thought I would share my collection, and maybe ask couple questions along the way... most of the motors came from people that didn't know much or anything about them, and it's hard to tell them...

Awesome collection. You can get 1/4 black tape to replace what's there if you ever open them up. I just take a couple pictures of it first before removing the tape.

Well you have really good collection I like that. I think all the old stuff is more durable instead of the new motors . Because I mostly see the burnt problem in motors. How many years you are collecting these motors?
