That is the weirdest looking thing I've seen. I love it!!! Would a green wing make it better?

Re: Bitten by the Bug
Thanks for the kind comments
I´ve cut the rear of the body a bit shorter, which makes it look less awkward. And that, I guess, would make it possible to ad a wing without making it even weirder. But this have left me with another problem - shortening the body and pulling it backwards, left at bit of blanc space in the front. This I´m trying to sort with a kind of damper mount reinforcement.RichieRich wrote:That is the weirdest looking thing I've seen. I love it!!! Would a green wing make it better?

Re: Bitten by the Bug
That definitely looks different! I think cutting up the body as much as you did to make it fit throws the scale appearance off somewhat. In pictures, the car looks like it has an elongated chassis. That's not a bad thing, it's just different...and some people here (myself included) happen to prefer different.
I agree that it could use a wing so the butt-end doesn't look so naked, and I'd use a body mount that raises the rear part of the body a bit so it looks a bit more aggressive. Front-end-up-in-the-air just doesn't look cool to me...which is why I hate just about all the truggies I've seen.

I agree with You on all Your points, exept the "Front-end-up-in-the-air" part. A 2wd
buggy must have a sharp front end and a more lazy rear

At the moment I´m working on a simple cage to replace the body.

There´s no progress at the momentHcp22 wrote:A cage sounds promising, any pictures on the ongoing work?

I just checked Your amazing buggy frame buggy build. I guess it must be one of the best builds I´ve seen of it´s kind. Good job.

Re: Bitten by the Bug
Check out my hotshot bodied ultima in my gallery.
With the supershot re-re you should be able to get a rollcage again and the supershot body is even better than the hotshot
