From my experience, shoe goo is flexible and works good for fixing bodies such as the rear end of the 10T body there it always breaks. Since it's flexible I'm not sure how well it would do against a high torque situation.

The flexibility would be relative to the thickness. Between two hard, flat surfaces in a thin layer, flexibility isn't an issue. That's why so many racers recommend it, even over quality double-sided tape. I'd bet those little tabs would break off more easily in a bad crash...which seems to be the case here.

There is a reason KO makes an aluminum servo case for 1/8 scale and crawler applications- the torque that it can be subjected to is really impressive. Although crawlers rarely move fast enough to have a "crash" , sometimes wedging between a rock and a hard place is bound to break something-

I've put this Wraith through a lot. I plan on giving it a while lot more respect once I add all of the hopups.
