Dang...those big bores are.....BIG!

I see spacers are required on the back to get the shocks to fit right

Sweet. Yeah, I can already tell it's born of it's orange/white striped father. Copy the "errands" to get topshaft, tbuckles, etc

Orange/white donated the big bores :)

Found I dont have 1.5 degree white truck rear carriers :( Black ones it will be for now. It is a runner and they will be hidden by the wheels :)

I will keep telling myself that.

Copy. Yeah you may have to buy a pair off a granite counter top hobby shop (just made that up  - G.C.T.H.S.). I'm travelling but will check in a week or so. I think I got a NIP pair for ya.

if you do, they will replace the black ones on there now :)

Gomachv, if you look, i spaced the rear tower way forward and run the shock behind them. I really didnt like the spacing needed on the tower or the arm to get the big bores lined up right in front of the tower.

and yes, SOME of the errands were for me, but others were for the family

little bit of bling

B4 clear cover - only using the top screw for now. my 4-40 tap broke

I know, I know....really, just the blue bits black, I would be happy with just that little change.

Bob has a build where he had AE threaded shocks re-annod in gold, they are great looking.

Interesting. I am looking for some silver turnbuckles, so they are adjustable but without the black standing out so much, and not too modern looking either. Those could work well.

Maybe I could cut down the 50mm to the right size for the short arms, or the 62mm for the long-arm version, to keep from showing a mile of thread.

The 50mm are used for camber links, the 60mm was used on the steering. I did cut down the 50s to fit better.

Here are some other good options, maybe even no cutting :)

Out of all the shock tower choices why did you choose those ???? Are those the ones most people use when they race ???? I am going to be building a re re racer also that is why I am asking...I was going to use the worlds carbon clone ones...
