Hold on to those Platinum shocks -
x2 on the Lazer Alpha.
No idea about the motor if it´s in a sealed gold can.
Could be a Le Mans Stock 05 if the gold is paint.
Rear arms seems to be fibre enforced fronts from the "real" Lazer

Sorry about I couldn´t deliver on the rims

Yeah, platinum shocks are the stand outs in the pictures. The motor is likely just another re branded 540,, nothing special. The chassis, typical lazer alpha or lazer 2000,, or possibly one of the 4wd rally cars,, all the same. The chassis is a real odd ball among rc manufacturers. Its a molded plastic version of a full on competition buggy. Parts from the competition models can be swapped in at will. Shares geometry, dimentions with the lazer zx and zxr. Front kick up is slightly less than the race cars, and gear box builds are slightly different.

Looks like a good start to a runner.

Yup...even the Platinum shocks are poop (performance-wise, anyway).

Nope - in capable hands the platinums perform really well - If You have a set, try lending it out ;-)

I would agree on the platinums, they CAN be a pretty smooth shock. They are not as good as a gold but not as bad as many make them out to be. The biggest problem is the diameter of the shaft makes it displace a lot of oil making them had to bleed properly and not have a ton of rebound built in. The other issue is with the leaky orings but in all if my sets I only have one pair with leaky rings.

I have a set, I can't even sell it. Well, not on here, anyway. Maybe on eBay. but after my first & last experience selling something to some twat in Australia who claimed to have never received it, I doubt that'll happen...I've rebuilt tons of Golds and one set of Platinums, and they're poop compared to Golds. :P

If anybody wants 'em--they're in excellent condition--send me a PM with an offer I can't refuse.
