Re: So for my "first" beer tonight...
Sorry no pic's.......I'm on my first Saturday off in month's. Messing around here and there, I decided to have a morning beer. I keep my beer in the garage, so out I went, "cracked" one open, took a swig, and the air from my nose froze the beer in a instant. I opened another, and now am working on two beer's! ( nothing wrong with that
) As one defrosts in front of a heater , while other in hand, I must say......I'm done with winter. -17* atm.

Morning beers are good once in awhile. Been forever since I have done that. Fun as hell though, followed by an afternoon nap!
Here is something I picked up last weekend and thought I would give it a go tonight with some steak and shrimp.
I normally do not recommend a beer to often, as everyone's tastes are different. But this has a great flavor, and not as strong as it suggests. Colour and nose is great. (if you can say that for a beer?)
For a 7% strong style beer, you would think it is a normal golden pilsner. Try one, it is tasty!

Agreed on the "Morning Beers" posts above. Sometimes the party needs to start a little early. And yes, it usually ends early as well...
Spinal Tap would be proud of my Bud Light. It goes to 25...
Would have been a pretty good commercial for the Super Bowl.

I don't do the hard stuff anymore, but that's a sweet bottle Hcp!

Speaking of morning beers we were in a fund raising Gumbo cook-off last Saturday which meant we had to start about 9:00 a.m. at The Corner Bar with a Fried German Bologna with Pepper Jack and egg. And of course a couple of 32oz drafts. BTW, raised about $7K for various charities in the area.marlo wrote:morning beer.

28 bottle "Weekender"
that doesn't add up, mathematically
can someone explain the division of 28 beers in a weekend?

Meh, with the metric system I think that comes out to like 45. My math is terrible though.Charlie don't surf wrote:28 bottle "Weekender"![]()

Picked up a sixer of Miller Fortune. Doesn't even compare to Bud Black Crown. I generally don't like Miller beers though. I just wanted to give it a try. Looks like my Father in law will be getting 5 of these. He's a Miller man.
