Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
could someone tell me what size bearings I need for the steering please.
also, anything else I 'need' for the car ? like are the stock turnbuckles ok? change to VTS slipper maybe??
My car is going to be raced, it's actually replacing my 4.2
well, at least until I get my 5M

I mean its not like im going for spot on 100% accurate worlds car here.

Was hunting around Tower, but after seeing the price I had hoped not

Oh well, thanks for confirming.

I feel like a tard. I thought I ordered my worlds car a while back but it was just sitting in my online shopping cart. Duh. So, it should be delivered today. I wonder if there are any running production changes.
Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
That raises an interesting question. If this isn't a limited release, will kits purchased a year from now still have the same issues?

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
I've been busy...
Worlds runner
Graphite (half original, half rere to complete it)
Classic rere (not sure what I'm going to do to finish it, running or shelfer)
B5 Rear (still need motor, battery, receiver and servo)

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
Ok, my car was delivered on Wed. Cracked open the box right away. Everything seems in order. Packed 3/17 according to the slip inside. I can't wait to start the build. I need to get some bearings for the steering and I'll be set.
Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
I really hope that the problems don't continue. mine is currently sitting on the shelf bare of electronics and I stripped the tires off of it for my new b5m. I have yet to receive my top shaft from associated and I know the cva bones popping out of the outdrives is gonna continue to be an issue and my idea of putting more shims to get the bone end further into the outdrive is simply not gonna work. the 2mm I need is not gonna be acheiveable because then the crosspin will be bound on the bearing so my almost $300 super bitchen worlds car re re is mearly an expensive shelf ornament at this time. if I wanted to look at an expensive worlds car shelf ornament I would have bought a real worlds car to have sitting up there to look at. maybe I will buy another one next year and see if the same issue is there or associated has been silently watching the web forums waiting for us to tell them what the problem is with their production cars and will have fixed the issues and fired heir blind machinist. I'm 110% sure their prototype didn't have these issuesca-rj wrote:That raises an interesting question. do you think its a bad twilight zone episode for team associated to be re producing a buggy from yesteryear that is capable of beating their latest and greatest production buggy?
