It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas Factory Works website
A trx1. Rebuilt it after re-discovering it in the garage. Set it down on the old LHS (R/C PLUS, Salem, OR [shout out]) track and let it rip. Slammed it into the boards on lap 3 and snapped the front spindle arm. Thought I didn't have a spare, went home. Found one in the bottom of the tackle box, swapped it out. Took it up to the local elementary school and LET MY 3 NEPHEWS spin some hot laps on the concrete with it. I've kinda been hoardin' parts since then.
My Losi XXX. It was my first attempt at club racing and I did win a few A finals with it. Was a joy to drive and I really wish I'd kept it. My XXXT took over and was the last racer that I competed with. Still got the old girl and she gets out for some fun bashing once in a while! Lol!
Lastly my V1Durango. I was the first in my club to get one. Not really Vintage, but it completes my trio of racers that I actually raced!

Up on page 1, 6th post down, the clay on those tires is from SDRC. Never raced nights. Was going there during the day when the kid was in school a while back (I just moved up to Spokane WA).
Back in the day I used to watch these cars go round my club track with envy. I ended up buying a used CAT XL from a fellow racer back then and this car served me well. It made driving in stock a breeze.
All these years later I wanted to build up...

I raced this car just a couple of days ago at the 2013 vintage Castle Hill 2 day meeting and it was simply insane! I swapped the esc out for a Tekin FX PRO, Spektrum receiver, 540 silver can motor and 5100mah lipo saddle packs.
The car was actually...
Name a car you would like to race against current buggies maybe at club level. It doesnt have to be a competition car but could be anything from a Grasshopper onwards. I always wanted to try that but my skills are no good I have never consistantly...

Ahhh, I grew up pretty much due east on the other side of the coast. Space Coast Raceway was my home track.
I couldnt count how many requests I have had to take photos of this car and post them up over the few years, from both people on this site and others. This car is pretty much one of a kind. This RCL Incident was the test mule for a...

Can't believe it, I was just checking a guy's feedback and look what he bought and I missed
So I took my OIN RC10 graphite team car to the track to see how it would fair and Wow! First off, it was way harder than I remember keeping it where i wanted it to go, second I beat the living s&%t out of it. I though maybe we could use this post...

Build your car exactly how the manual states and you will have a decent starting point. From there you may need to make some changes at the track depending how your car reacts.
Tires are really hit or miss. Best thing to do is ask when you get...

That's been around for a couple years now. The original vid had the girl mouthing off to the RC owners. She had the entire park to play in, but had to ride right there.
I have this wasted attic space that's at least 12 feet x 32 feet, which could be maximized to 40 feet with some creativity. The attic has been insulated so it's not super hot in the summer. It feels like if could have all the makings of an indoor RC...

It looks like I'll need to watch the price of plywood. I would need 15 sheets, but not at $50 or more each.
