Check your original link, it showed a city with no bumper.

The link that I provided was for that cars model number on TamiyaClub.. From that page you have options to view the manual, parts listings, and members rides etc.. :D

The photo on that page I believe is from the Tamiya guide book.. I have no idea why it shows the car without the bumper..

I was just trying to save myself the trouble of photographing my own Willy's Wheeler to post as an example.. As it turns out, this may have been the easier option..

Need a little help guys...trying to get these to work, but they are acting goofy...I'd like to know at least brand, if not model, so I can get some documentation. It would seem to be an easy setup, but either I'm a dumbass and not doing it right, or one or both of these are goobered. There's no ID'ing marks inside or out other than what you see. The receiver looks vaguely LRP, but I couldn't find a match. The button on the ESC says "Setup". Thanks!

Ok...just found the receiver is identical to a Carson Reflex Pro, but with a different label...

Where exactly are you having a problem?

Are both the Radio/receiver and ESC new to you??

Have you tried testing the radio/receiver by powering it up with 4 AA cells in a battery box, and connecting 2 or 3 servos that you know work and testing that all the functions work as they should??? Alternatively, you could just swap the radio/receiver into another known working car if you have one, and test it that way..

Most ESC's setup either one of two ways..

With the radio (controller) turned on, press and hold the setup button on the ESC, then turn on the ESC.. After approx. 3 seconds you may notice that the lights on the ESC may change (they may flash, or turn solid red or green), signifying that you have entered setup mode, so release the setup button...

Now this is where the setup process could be different.. One method, you will need to pull the throttle on the controller to full forward, and hold it there for a few seconds and the ESC will acknowledge that full forward has been set by the lights changing colour.. Then select full reverse on the controller and after a few seconds the ESC will acknowledge that it has accepted this by the lights again changing colour..

If that method doesn't work, repeat the process, but when you move the throttle to full forward, press and release the setup button, and then move the throttle to full reverse and again press and release the setup button.. The only exception to this is that I have found a few ESC's that also require you to manually set the neutral point as well, so you may need to add a new step 1 to the process, which is pressing and releasing the setup button when the throttle is at neutral, then set forward, and reverse..

Goodluck..

I have a few 1:10 bodies (and possibly some 1:12) and don't really know what they are. I know one is a Porsche and there is a Corvette, but if anyone has any more info, I would be very grateful. Thanks guys.
