I went to a local off-road track last Sunday after learning about it from a good friend and took some pics. The people were amazingly nice and the track was well-kept. I'm building an RC10 World's Re-re to race there next weekend and hopefully next season. There was a guy there with a World's Re-re and he was doing awesome after he did some suspension tuning. He had a CV pop out in the main, but came back in and finished. There was also a XXX-T Matt Francis edition truck there and the driver was surprised I knew what it was.
Awesome! Who would have ever thought you could run these things!
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas Factory Works website
Yesterday was a bust for me since I destroyed a servo in the first few laps of practice. I borrowed a Solar from my friend, but I was having glitching issues using it with my Spektrum Rx, even with a glitch buster. But I brought my Nikon just in case and took some pics of the action. It was a long day...I arrived at the track about 7:30 a.m. and didn't get home until around 8 p.m...and I left before the racing was over.
Hey guys, well I hadn't checked in for a while with the local RC shop that has indoor racing and they've added a 2wd buggy class on FRiday nights. To start out I thought I'd bring my son and the newly acquired craigslist B3 that I got him and I can...

Thanks for the advice on lipos and brushless! Lipos are probably more in our immediate future.
Had a really fun time last night! He took it pretty slow and the car did wonderfully and I have to say I really really like this little B3. I think I...
We had a short meeting yesterday, only RC10s and my Ultima (no Tamiyas this time..). I was really curious to see how the new Pro Line tires would work (in previous meeting the vintage tires caused serious oversteer on the hard packed track) and boy...

I've made some changes to the car since, but there are some good pics of chassis.
This is my road wizard. This car is all original and correct. I have had it since new and assembled it about 2 years ago. Don't want to run it because parts have become vary rare and hard to find.

Nice JPS F1 car!
I used to own a Lotus Elite, and I have a love for all JPS Lotus Racecars.
I think this is been based off of Ayrton Senna's F1 car, but I could be wrong.
I know...I know, it's not vintage, but it is on-road! The 12L4 I snagged on ebay, is now ready to tear up the road...err appartment complex tennis court in my case. After getting the funds together and waiting for my saddle pack to arrive...
Would 1/12 scale offroad racing ever attract interest?
We have 1/12 scale on-road class using 1/10 scale electric motors and batteries and electronics. Why not in offroad?
Once we get to 1/16th scale it gets to be a little too small, perhaps a bit...

Our local track saw an uptick in novice racers with the Losi Mini B/T2.0. These were kept as a controlled spec class, but many kids, including my own, soon moved up to 1/10 scale.
Hello I just wantd to ask if anyone had this kit or have pics of it built. I don't plan on building it yet. Just wanted to know if anyone has seen it before? If so how was the performance and looks? Thanks in advance...

What are you planning to race at the 2010 Vintage Off Road Nationals? Here's what I've got.
A vintage Clodbuster for the heavy metal class. Taking the name of the class literally, this is an all metal Clodbuster. Sassy Chassis, JPS gear boxes, Sees...
