Nix/CNCrc Stealth car build- "Stealth Team Car" version

Post by GoMachV »

I hadn't planned on showing this until I had a complete roller....but since it's slow....

I decided to build this one as a "what-if" car. If they chose the stealth car platform and made it available, there would have likely been a champ and a team car. Ignore the wheels, this is how I envision the team would have gone. Dogbones (like the first truck), bearings, hard shocks with black anno caps, tq wheels, plastic trans brace and black ano motor plate and guard.

I do plan to build a what-if Champ next, with three piece wheels, bushings, and a msc 8)

Here's my question to you all. What would the champ chassis be? Should I start with an aluminum pan and trim it? I don't think g10 with kick up ever happened besides kyosho and other imports. Carbon is too nice for an entry level. Im leaning towards a tub

Way too late for the '91 era tho. I had considered it tho, much cheaper pans!

I like those wheels and tires on this kit. When I get some spare cash I plan on building one of these. Now I know what what I'm putting under it.

G10 fiberglass chassis would be cool as a sport model.
