This set up is about as stiff as the standard RC10 without a trans brace.
Right Click - Save As! lol Pretty cool! Thanks for sharing...

Ehhh. The foam donuts I got weren't that great. Well the actual donuts were probably ok it's the cuts that were very inconsistent and they are wickedly out of balance. :-(

Went back to off road pin style tires and man this thing is fun. We found a nice old runway with nothing around to hit! lol. 69mph with a 4s but I wasted the idler gear. Trying to figure out an alternative. The 3d printed dogbones held up though.

Are those printed bones still going? I have an idea and some printed bones would be killer

So far so good. Last time out I was launching it as good as I could. As mentioned it's well into the 60's.

Thats really cool! We have a DMLS machine (3d metal printer) at work and i can tell you that the stainless parts i have had made with that process have been VERY hard, like nearly impossible to drill! It seems to have really good mechanical properties.

This thing is still alive and running strong - still well into the 60's! lol. I've focused my speed addiction towards my other car - still fighting with finding the right tires. But it's so much fun.

unless I missed it, what material did you use for the 3d printed arms? And general printer settings? I always wanted to try printing my own arms (which would involve me stopping playing w/ RC cars and finish my "new" 3d printer or at least fixing the "old" one).

I get everything printed through Shapeways. I'm spoiled on their visual quality so I haven't purchased a 3d printer of my own yet. Some day though!
