Re: Graupner Radicator Experts
These are really cool. Eagle chassis with Magnum trans and buggy wheels/tires. I like the wheels with bigger holes.
Nice buggies!

Re: Graupner Radicator Experts
Thanks for the kind words -
As for the wheels, the fronts are Tamiya Super Hornet - the rears I can´t remember, I´m going to need a little help from Mr.ED, he´s got some 12mm hex? while mine are Traxxas or losi? crosspins.

Re: Graupner Radicator Experts
I did have a full set: with the matching front on bearings. But I sold them to bearrickster around 10 years ago.
I think they were a french make, maybe drastic?

Re: Graupner Radicator Experts
Do you do flowing shirts with ruffly sleeves in satin?
Is that body TRX-3 or early Bandit? I see the B-pillar molded in there.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Re: Graupner Radicator Experts
Thanks for the help on the ID of the wheels, Mr. ED.
TRX-1-3 :
Satin is my favorite fabric, after that comes velvet
The body is sold as being a TRX-3 repro (Penguin UK). I have an original Expert body but it was cut too rough to be worth spending two hours on.
Plan is to order a couple of Expert repro bodies AND then start masking AGAIN

Re: Graupner Radicator Experts
I have a new blue eagle which as the bullet shaped chassis and yes it was painted. I think of the RAD2 as TRX3 with a plastic chassis in the middle.

Re: Graupner Radicator Experts
yeah, I have a blue eagle with the bullet shaped graphite chassis too....i thought initially someone did a crappy job painting it, it turns out it was traxxas that painted it. I stripped the paint off.
but it's hard to tell in the pics above if the chassis are the eagle chassis or not....

Re: Graupner Radicator Experts
Not just any black paint: a hard glossy coat with gold and purple glitter. The perfect match with dennis paintscheme
The original body is the same as the standard radicator right?

Re: Graupner Radicator Experts
OMG OMG OMG....... He´s done it again (waiting for the crowds chear to calm down)
Another Radicator Expert dressed to ..... I don´t know what.
30 something year old stickers, plastered on a re-pro body meant for a TRX3 - how low can one sink.
I need to get a hobby
