Upgrading top shaft of stealth
Upgrading top shaft of stealth
I have read a bit here that you can upgrade your top shaft with the B4 slipper on an original 10T? can someone direct me to the correct parts needed for this? Thanks in advance.

Re: Upgrading top shaft of stealth
While I'm thinking about it - here's a site I came across where an rc10 seems to have been rebuilt like that:

Re: Upgrading top shaft of stealth
If the search setup worked better here on this site you guys could just look it up here. Several times over in multiple threads have the stealth top shaft covered for converting older trannys to the newer slipper assemblys.

Re: Upgrading top shaft of stealth
I did this swap on the B3 , worked great. I think I have too much available bite for the diff now, I backed the slipper all the way off to avoid that again.

Re: Upgrading top shaft of stealth
I run a tripple plate slipper with a heavy duty pad.
Just a standard B4 top shaft with VTS conversion, extra slipper disk, extra VTS pad and HD hex pad.
The dying of white parts black in the link above is a bit of sacrilege in my opinion... Hot pink or so I can understand, but black.......

Re: Upgrading top shaft of stealth
I may be nostalgic... But I really liked the original stealth slipper, two bolts and the spur gear was off without changing the slipper adjustment lol
