With this conversion using the standerd rc10 chassis holes then this would be able to be used with a SSC10 worlds aluminium chassis kit from shining star?

I'm not familiar with that chassis, but if it has the same holes as an AE RC10 chassis then yes. Although the bulkhead is meant to pick up the tabs on the sides of the chassis too, so if it doesn't have those then you would need to stiffen up the rear of the chassis some other way.

mk-Zero, the SSC10 is just a special flat, but thick milled aluminum chassis for the RC10.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the stock holes that the kit uses are the same arm, tranny, and bulkhead mounts to the chassis. My only concern is that because the SSC10 is not a "tub", there are not those side 4-40's that connect the tub to the bulkhead. I'm not sure if that would be an issue for support/flex of the car.

Think of the question this way... would this mid-motor kit work with a graphite RC10 ?

It's a good question... probably would be fine on the graphite, RC10's in graphite didn't have the chassis tied into the bulkhead on the sides and they were fine. So on that flat aluminum chassis, assuming it were as stiff as a graphite chassis, it would probably be fine. Those "arms" on the RC10M bulkhead that come forward to meet the sides of the tub could just be cut off, just leaving the "wings" where the ball studs for the camber links mount. Would look pretty slick.

Especially if you tied in the rear bumper guard, that would help tie everything together.

Yup, any chassis that has either Stealth or 6-gear holes and the stock bulkhead holes would work. Only thing is if flat chassis are stiff enough without having the bulkhead directly bolted to the chassis.
Maybe I need to build a graphite car and try it out. Anyone want to send me one as a test mule?

Does it have to be an AE chassis? I have an Andy's or Hot Trick (don't remember which) graphite chassis that I want to build into a mid-motor asphalt/parking lot runner. I have new simracing gear to acquire and a gold pan chassis to build into a backyard basher first though, so I wouldn't miss it for a while. I'd be happy to donate it for a bit if it will help with the development of your parts.

That's actually a houge chassis for trailing arms. I think it is sourced from composite craft though.
