Re: RC10 Factory Works C2 "Tuber" Build (Updated)
I've been smoothing the joints on the cage for awhile and it's time for a break. This morning I machine the aluminum pieces for the spare wheel to mount to the rear. They came out good. I rummaged in my wizzo box and came up with the top thump screw.
Pics as it stands. Time to think on some electronics...

Thanks guys.
Mike, I still have some tube/rode left. I'll goof around and see what I come up with.

UPDATE
I've been at it for a couple of weeks, adding a few braces to make the cage more durable. After a "drop test", it needed it.
A lot of filling to finish up but, it'll be very cool.

Oops! Well, it's called a "roll cage" for a reason.
Anyway, a little extra bracing never hurts.

I had to order a 5-40 tap for something I wanted to do, got a 4-40 and a 6-40... no 5-40.
Finished unveil soon!

Re: RC10 Factory Works C2 "Tuber" Build
I got the drill and tap for 5-40 on Saturday, straight to it, no messing around.
Awhile back, I got these "spinners" from eBay/DHAWK. Nice man, very nice but intended for the Classic front axle thread size so I 5-40'd them to use on the World's axles.

Re: RC10 Factory Works C2 "Tuber" Build
Alrighty now, the "Tuber" is pretty much done, with the exception of a rear wing. I need to think on that for awhile, gather some wing buttons and a wing, machine some cool parts for the attachment to the wire from the Factory Works wing things.
On to a few pics!
I'm more than satisfied with the build. One thing I will say, filing on the cage joints was getting "old" at the end.
My thanks go out to Jeff/Factory Works for making the C2 "Tuber" happen!

Looks nice, Nomad. Yes, that wing will be tricky to mount but I have confidence you'll find a clever solution.
Well done!!

Thank you, brother
I have a brain spurt about it, came about at lunch today. a pivot with position locking screws for wing angle. I draw it for ya.
