The qtee was not a very popular kit. MRC brought it in and tossed on a classic body and street tires. The chassis underneath wasn’t well known in the USA but was a pretty decent platform. There are a couple Wyvern threads on here showing them as a proper buggy.

I thought the box background was appropriate :)

Has many parts that resemble the Yokomo of the time, I will post up a thread. MRC imported Academy into the US (Korea based), I actually was one of their sponsored drivers for a couple years. Loved the Academy SB 4wd line, I left them right before they attempted to go big with 2wd and Stadium Truck. I have always had a soft spot for their 4wd cars.

Let us know how you like that 4pls. I have a 3pv and it’s fine but kinda boring and lacking some things (such as 4 character model names lol). I don’t want to spend a ton. I heard the 4pls was getting pretty old and the 4pv taking over but it’s a lot more money too

FWIW, I've had a 4pls for a few years now (first radio I've bought since the '80's). Biggest issues for me are the manual (very frustrating to read and difficult to understand) and the cost of Rx's. Otherwise, all good. Throttle input/control is extremely smooth and precise. Wish I could dial back the steering return spring tension more (there is an adjustment screw but it doesn't go far enough in my opinion).

Minty fresh all black “latest” CE kit sealed in the bag. This will park right next to my all black “latest” team car.

Proline fronts, Associated rears, cut noseplate, all
Black parts including bellcranks, and Mach 1 motor

Gotta love the late Friday/early Monday production chassis

Nice score Joey! Although if I left my back door cracked on Christmas day I'd freeze my jingle bells off... :?
