Re: Green parts: not just for ball cups anymore
I wonder if there are thunder tiger parts that have this green material. It could be that the associated stuff has to be run in certain batch windows, and thunder tiger says 'just run with this material'.

Re: Green parts: not just for ball cups anymore
Or perhaps raw material supplier made a batch of contaminated nylon (mint green not pure white) and, rather than scraping it and incurring the loss, offered it up to molder and AE at a very deep discount. AE says, "Sure, we'll take it. Most of our vintage RC customers are very old and nearly blind; either they won't notice the difference or they'll just dye the parts black anyway. After all, what choice do they have -- it's not like they could *magically* "3D print" them or change brands or anything."

I think Associated conversation goes more like this:
Thunder Tiger: “do you want it like this or do you want NOTHING?”
Associated: “yes master, we will take what we can get. Thank you sir. Would you like your feet rubbed?”
Thunder Tiger: “do you want it like this or do you want NOTHING?”
Associated: “yes master, we will take what we can get. Thank you sir. Would you like your feet rubbed?”

Agreed, so about those ball cups, if they are green it is clear they are lazy socialist ball cups that wouldn't know a real day at the track like we had in the good ole days anyways.

I think you should, I don't think I could drive by without stopping in? Not to go off topic but I will, is there anything for public to see there?
