I haven't seen a rear end that nice since Terry in F13 part 2!

i hate painted wheels , just get the whole truck so dirty you can't see the difference

If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Re: Kyosho Nitro Brute Restoration
I love the painted wheels, I just hate the lack of durability! But that's a real looker on your shelf, Derek! Might be one of the best examples of the Nitro Brute I've seen.

Thanks homz! i rushed the paint and if u zoom in u can see where it puddled☹...oh well, it is a driver and runs really well, big speed and power, prolly too much for that truck anyways but i love driving it

Re: Kyosho Nitro Brute Restoration
Not alot of activity here in the Kyosho forum so i figured i would post some here....restoring my Nitro Brute once again. Gone are the big wheels and yellow body. Going back to the stock wheels and tire size. Restored the body with new clearcoat "the diamond one" applied. Have sway bars on it i made, 3rd servo for brakes again as it had broke off awhile back. Waiting on some new rear shocks that are much bigger than before as it was just too heavy for the Kyosho reds. The engine was rebuild this summer with a repinch, new bearings and gaskets....runs absolutely perfect with no issues....steady idle. This truck gets ran more than any other vintage car i have...it runs strong and probably too fast for how it handles and old it is. Anyway heres the restoration so far:

Re: Kyosho Nitro Brute Restoration
Probably the most tricked out Brute in history. I have some videos of a bunch of cars/trucks including this I'll post when I have time. They are very short so I could text them, but cool. The Brute was a beast even with the giant tires. If Derek wants to ruin it with those pizza cutter tires that's his business...
